Hello! My name is Ralph, I’m 5 years old and I’ve lived in the Cotswolds all my life. I’m well known around these parts, and if you come to Stow-on-the-Wold, you’ll probably spot me out and about in the Square with one of the Troupe! The Old Stocks Inn have asked me to give you the inside scoop on the best places to visit in the Cotswolds, so I’ve put together a handy guide for staying at The Old Stocks Inn with your owners.
Tasty Treats and Cosy Beds
The Old Stocks’ Garden Rooms are paw-fect for a great Cotswold getaway with your owner. Dogs are charged at £15 each per night, and you’ll get a comfy bed and water bowl. We welcome one medium (labrador size) or up to 2 small dogs per Garden Room.
We regret that we cannot welcome puppies under the age of 6 months.
The Best Seat in the House
Us dogs are always welcome to come and visit The Old Stocks, so take a seat in the bar, garden and library. If you ask nicely, a member of the troupe usually has a few treats on hand!
It’s Always Time for Walkies
As an official Cotswolds resident, I know where all the best spots for walkies can be found, so I’ve teamed up with my owner to put my favourite walks down on paper. Each walk includes a stop-off at a fantastic dog-friendly attraction or eatery as well – what could be better?
Your owner can download and print my walks below:
Walk 1 – Through the Slaughters
Walk 2 – A Woodland Walk in Chipping Campden
Walk 3 – Broadway Tower Adventure
Walk 4 – Bibury Ramble
Walk 5 – Stow to Bourton
Vets On Call
My local vet is Stow Veterinary Surgeons, and they’ll take good care of you if any problems arise. They’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and if you need their help while staying with us, just get your owner to speak to Reception – they’ll be happy to give them a call.
