Historical
On the banks of the Thames in the picturesque village of Kelmscott is Kelmscott Manor, the Cotswold retreat of William Morris, his family and fellow artists. The manor, its gardens, barns, dovecote, meadow and stream were a constant source of inspiration to Morris, who was one of the leading lights of the Victorian arts and crafts movement.
