We’re thrilled to unveil our very own cocktail recipe book, The Old Stocks Little Book of Cocktails, allowing you to recreate your favourite Old Stocks drinks at home - just in time for Christmas.
From classics with an Old Stocks twist, such as the Bramble and the Old Fashioned, to ‘Lawlessness’ – a unique combination of Cotswold Single Malt with peach liqueur and Purity’s Lawless Lager - the Old Stocks Little Book of Cocktails is packed full of step-by-step instructions, expert guidance and advice on mixology tools and techniques from Pete Simpson - deputy manager at the Old Stocks and the driving force behind the hotel's cocktail creations.
Pete said: “We’re so proud to be unveiling our very own Cocktail recipe book, celebrating everything we’ve achieved as a team here at the Old Stocks.
“When we first opened our doors back in 2015, after a major refurbishment, we wanted to carve out a reputation for bringing exciting and unusual cocktails to Stow.
“We set out to quite literally shake things up in the Cotswolds area and give our guests and locals alike a cocktail menu with the wow factor. With a lot of hard work and creativity, we’ve done just that.
“The book shares a selection of easy-to-follow recipes and infusions so you can recreate the magic of some of our best-loved cocktails at home, from the traditional (served with an Old Stocks twist, of course) to the extraordinary which, after all, is what we do best.”
