Our Team
More about me …
I’ve lived in Stow all my life and have been a qualified barista for about eight years now.
What I do …
I run the café, serving customers with fresh coffee and handmade sandwiches. I work closely with our pastry chef, Susie, to provide freshly made cakes for customers and train staff to make sure the quality of the coffee is consistently high. It’s all about customer satisfaction and good service!
My favourite dish …
I came in for an amazing roast dinner recently. The flavours of the chicken starter were mind-blowing! I had rare roast beef for the main course, which was just cooked to perfection, and one of Susie’s amazing chocolate desserts. It was really good and I came out feeling comfortably full. I’ll definitely be bringing my family in to sample the food. I’m really proud to be able to bring people in to experience what we serve every day.
The best drink at the café …
On a nice day, an iced vanilla latte is a good choice. I’m a big fan of lattes, whether hot or cold! Hopefully we’ll have some iced teas for the summer. I’ve got lots of new ideas for the café, but we’re also keen to find out what our customers would like us to offer as well. If you’ve got any ideas, just let me know when you next come in!
My Cotswold gem …
I love heading down to Cotswold Farm Park on a crisp spring day when all the lambs are running around in the fields. It’s a really nice place to walk around, and I always see if I can spot Adam Henson tending to the animals!
What I love most about The Old Stocks …
I’m looking forward to the pizza oven getting fired up and sitting outside in the summer, enjoying a cocktail.
Why I’m part of the troupe …
It’s nice to work with a team, which really supports each other and has a good laugh. The management here are amazing, and it’s good to feel appreciated.
